They have a short inseam (5″ or 7″), large notch, elastic waistband, stretchy fabric, and bountiful storage. They are extremely comfortable to wear and very stretchy. That’s thanks to the 20% spandex blend fabric. However, this comes with the downside of slightly increasing dry-time and weight. Maybe don’t choose these if you plan to stow them more than wear them or if you’re particularly sweaty. These shorts come with a brief-style built-liner. But it’s unimpressive, and we recommend cutting it out and wearing these shorts in conjunction with your preferred running underwear. It’s the zippered hand pockets that make them versatile and perfect for many activities besides just running in. They’re secure enough to store valuables like a phone, and shallow enough to prevent bounce and sway. Perhaps the most interesting feature are the envelope-style side thigh pockets, which can store lightweight accessories, like gloves or a hat.
