Springfield KingPin Unintentional Detach Retention Cup – Plastic

Description

Springfield Marine KingPin Replacement Retention Cup – Keeping Your Boat Seat Secure A small part can make a big difference on the water. This plastic retention cup is a genuine Springfield Marine replacement component designed specifically for the KingPin™ standard base system, restoring the unintentional-detach retention function that keeps your seat post firmly in place while you’re out on the boat. Why This Part Matters Maintains seat security: The retention cup is the component that prevents your seat post from accidentally pulling free of the KingPin™ standard base — a critical function on moving water. Genuine Springfield Marine replacement: Sourced directly from the manufacturer, so it’s built to fit and perform exactly as the original did. Simple, affordable fix: Instead of replacing an entire seat base assembly, swapping this single cup restores full retention function at minimal cost. Lightweight construction: The plastic build keeps weight negligible — important when every ounce counts on a boat. What’s Included Each purchase contains one (1) plastic KingPin™ Unintentional Detach Retention Cup . This is a replacement for the standard post pin cup used in the KingPin™ standard base — not a complete base or seat assembly. Compatibility and Intended Use This retention cup is designed for use with the Springfield Marine KingPin™ standard base . If you’re unsure whether your existing seat base is a KingPin™ standard model, check the label or documentation that came with your original seating hardware before ordering. Using the correct replacement part ensures the retention mechanism functions as intended. A Note on Safety and Prop 65 This product carries a California Proposition 65 warning . Stock Status This item is currently out of stock .
